The agenda is subject to change between registration and the conference day due to speaker availability or additions to the programme.
The Delegate: Booking Fee includes: all meals and refreshments throughout the conference day, access to conference presentations and panel sessions and networking/social events (other than those advertised at an additional fee). Delegates may attend all sessions arranged by the Organiser (excluding any invitation-only extras not on the main agenda). Conference slides and speaker notes will be made available after the meeting, where consent to circulate them has been given.
Webinars
Online access to conference presentations as advertised. Global Engage is not responsible for issues of quality relating to internet speed or access. We reserve the right to remove hosting of content due to technical or quality issues or at the request of the presenters.
Acceptance of Complimentary or Press Passes
In the event of being offered a free delegate pass for a conference, this confirmation acts as proof we have received your application. Because of the nature of online applications, your place is not officially confirmed until we have had a chance to check that you qualify. Please do not make any travel arrangements before we have confirmed acceptance of your application. We will not be liable for any expenses incurred.
One of our staff members will send you a welcome letter and delegate questionnaire to confirm acceptance or, in the event that you do not qualify under the terms of the offer as stated on the invitation, we will contact you to make other arrangements. Your place is not guaranteed until we have received the completed questionnaire.
Questionnaire
Each Delegate must complete and return a “Personal and Company Details Questionnaire” issued by the Organiser on receipt of the Delegate Booking Form. This information will only be used for the organisation of the conference, for material produced for Delegates and Sponsors and to facilitate the networking sessions.
Cancellation and Curtailment
If a Registered Delegate is unable to attend the event, he/she may nominate a substitute of equal standing within their Company. A substitute delegate must be nominated within a week of cancellation and must be approved by the Organiser in advance in order to avoid cancellation charges being applied. If a substitute Delegate is not available the following cancellation charges will apply in line with the refund policy below.
Cancellation of Complimentary Places
Cancellation of a complimentary place less than the time specified on the application form (or 1 calendar month) before the event will be subject to an administrative fee to cover catering costs incurred.
Cancellation of Accommodation Booking
Accommodation cancelled up to 1 month before the event will be refunded in full. Accommodation cancelled after that date will be refunded at Global Engage’s discretion as we may be charged ourselves for your part of our group booking (usually depending on the venue’s own policy for our group contract or whether we can fill the room ourselves).
Data Protection
The data controller is the Organiser. The Organiser may disclose such personal information to Registered Solution Providers attending the event and other Delegates for the purposes of the Event networking or post-event communication. The Delegate consents to the use of his/her personal and company information on the terms set out herein. You can opt-out by emailing nnoakes@globalengage.co.uk or by updating your preferences here.
When we use technology to facilitate an event, such as conference app or online event platforms, their own terms (available when you access them and set up a user account) will be in effect and they act as the data handler. Your contact information may be visible to people you interact with, but only when you perform an action of consent (download sponsor material, allow your badge to be scanned etc).
Miscellaneous
This Agreement may not be transferred or assigned by either the Delegate or the Delegate’s Company. The Organiser will determine the scope and content of Summit conference events, seminars, workshops and activities throughout the Event. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the Event without liability to the Delegate’s Company or individual Delegate. If for any reason the Organiser has to cancel or postpone this Event, the Organiser reserves the right to transfer this Booking to another conference within the same sector to be held within twelve months. Should another Conference in the same sector not be available within this period, the Booking Fee will be refunded.
